Serena, Marco, and Jacopo are delighted to welcome you to the "Una finestra sulla Contea" Vacation Home! From the renovation of an old barn arises a characteristic Carnic dwelling that will make you experience an authentic vacation immersed in the splendid local reality.. a window on the County! The house is spread over three floors and has 6 beds. At your disposal, there is a garden with an outdoor table, a small barbecue, and children's games. On the ground floor, we find a large kitchen from another era that leads us to the first floor where we are welcomed by a spacious living room with a desk, a sofa bed, and a guest bathroom. On the top floor, there are two double bedrooms with a bathroom. We are an Eco-Vacation Home, promoting a plastic-free structure and being a "Bike-friendly Facility." The house is suitable for remote work and families, with a small focus on physical well-being. Cyclists, motorcyclists, pilgrims, families, individuals, and small groups are welcome! In the village, there are pastry shops, bars, various shops, a bank, a bakery, a newsstand, a pharmacy, a bus stop, a laundry, a pub, takeaways, and restaurants and pizzerias within a short distance. Just 12 km away, there are cinemas, theaters, a swimming pool, and a gym.

The village of Ovaro is located at the foot of Zoncolan, the mythical Kaiser, an ideal starting point for cycling excursions on the climbs of the Giro d'Italia and Crostis, with a spectacular panoramic view of the peaks. Hiking itineraries such as the path of the Pieve and the Faith offer the opportunity to explore charming routes on foot or by mountain bike, allowing you to discover the hidden corners of Carnia through history, including the Roman center of Iulium Carnicum and its interesting museum. The nearby massifs of Coglians, Peralba, and Pesarine offer climbing and trekking opportunities, even for the most experienced. We are 7 km away from the "la farina del diavolo" via ferrata and the Vinadia gorge.
